Mac SE change

The other day while eating a sandwich, I had this brilliant idea to
create a new kind of computer. Now may I present to you the Mac SE in
three new colors: flamingo, key lime pie, and chlorine dream. That's
right... your computer only not beige! This will revolutionize
computing as we know it.

Make-Believe Mondays

Over the weekend, I realized I wanted to start a children's art group
for people like me who get really inspired to do art looking at the
wonderful drawings of children (and the young-at-heart). While it is
important to learn to draw from life, I think it is equally important
to use one's imagination when drawing. It comes natural for most
children, but I think we as adults lose part of our abilities as we
become more concerned with pleasing others the older we get. It also
occurred to me that many of my friends have children now, and I would
love to help them come up with drawing assignments for them and at the
same time, hopefully get to see their child's masterpieces. I'm
planning on posting old work I have that I did when I was younger as
well as new work that I'm doing now with my best efforts at letting go
of all inhibitions and having fun. Please join us!

little grand canyon

Like Jumbo Shrimp (as a friend put it), the name is odd. Someone told
me that this place did not meet expectations, but I'm assuming the
focus was on the grandiosity of "Grand" rather than the smalishness of
"little." It was more than a creek, but not something you could see
from space, for sure. Lichen and moss-covered sandstone walls draped
the lowlands of this Southern Illinois 4 mile hike just outside of
Chester (the home-town of E.C. Segar, creator of Popeye).

tea tags for trade

Marina: I suspect you have received most of these already from me,
but let me know if you are fine with receiving doubles (I certainly
am). If you want to hand pick the ones you want, go ahead and post a
comment under each tag you desire, and I'll just send those to you.
If there are some that you would like more than one, let me know which
ones, and I'll check to see if I have more. Have fun!

Episode 5: the Black Hole

A black hole is an object in space that scientists are not sure exist.
But they think they might. According to theory, a black hole has so
much gravity that light can't even escape. It must be pretty bright
inside there!
